This doll is in the home of a private collector and not available for sale or duplication.
Sabriel has, of course, had a full repaint - all of her factory paint was removed and she was hand painted with artist quality acrylics and a (very) small paint brush... (*grin*) - Her hair has been cut and styled into a shoulder length bob. I WAS told that her charter mark would not usually be visible... I just couldn't resist!
A short word about the costume ...
Sabriel is actually wearing 6 layers... batiste camisole, long sleeve turtle neck silk shirt, fitted leather vest, fully lined long sleeved scale mail coat and, of course, her (fully lined) silk tunic..... - I'm amazed she has any figure left after that at all! *grin*, she's also wearing batiste 'bloomers' under her leather pants and leather boots to complete the look.
Her belts, frog and sword scabbard are leather, the handles to her bells were hand sculpted, some of the bells were sculpted, some are brass and one is steel. (She *should* have seven... but they wouldn't fit!)
Her stand ALSO bears the charter mark, and her sword was made by my dear and darling hubby, otherwise known as VKW - it is carbon steel with a walnut handle and brass guard.

Yes, it's now a Google group - due to the great screw up of 2010 if you DID belong to the original Yahoo group, you were deleted (by Yahoo, not me) without notice, Google may not be as 'click and point' user friendly, but at least they won't delete the group arbitrarily?
