This doll is in the home of a private collector and is not available for sale or duplication

Asrai is a blend of a Jakks body with a Mattel horse (Nibbles, to be exact) - carefully sculpted to be perfect from any angle. All of the mold seams sanded smooth, and all hollows filled. The horse body has been given at least 8 coats of artist quality acrylics - subtle shadings and highlights and pretty much one horse hair at a time.

Asrai has been given a full makeover, all of her factory paint removed and her face repainted with artist quality acrylics and sealers. Her hair has been gently permed and styled for a wind-swept look.

All of Asrai's clothes and accents are leather and/or suede.
Her top has been molded to her, and laces up the back.
Her shield is boiled leather, hand laced and painted.
Her bracers lace up the insides
Her belt is leather, laced, beaded, feathered and laces in the back
Her headband is braided leather and she has beaded leather lacing in her hair and tail.

Asrai was (loosely) based on one of my own paintings....

They *are* sharp and *will* cut - I used her spear to cut pieces of her outfit.... - NOT TOYS !!
